💾 Don’t Put Off Backing Up Your Data!

Hi there, Ngunguru and Tutukaka community.

Let’s not put off until tomorrow what we should do today!

In tech terms, let’s focus on something really important: backing up your valuable data.

Think about all the things stored on your computer or phone — photos, documents, emails, business information and important files. What would happen if your computer suddenly stopped working, was stolen, or your files were damaged?

Having a backup means you have another copy to fall back on.

Make a schedule for backing up your data.

Depending on how important and how often your data changes, this could be:

  • Every day for important business or frequently changing files.
  • Every week for regular household or personal data.
  • Less frequently for information that doesn’t change very often.

The important thing is to have a system that works for you — and, most importantly, to make sure the backup is actually happening.

There are plenty of simple ways to back up your data using external drives, cloud storage or a combination of both. It doesn’t have to be difficult or time-consuming.

A good approach is to have more than one copy, with at least one backup kept separately from your computer. That way, if something happens to the computer itself, you still have another copy of your important information.

Give RD3 Tech a call and we can help you get a backup system sorted.

Because once your data is gone… it can be really, really gone!

💾 Back up your data today — don’t wait until you need the backup.
