Thinking of selling an old computer or passing it on to a friend or family member?

Before you hand it over, it’s important to make sure your personal information is properly removed.

RD3 Tech can help. We can securely remove your personal data and reset the computer ready for its new owner. If you’re moving to a new computer, we can also help transfer your important files and data across, or arrange a backup so you have a safe copy of your information.

🔌 A Little Organisation Can Go a Long Way

This week I’ve been sorting out my cables and computer gear, and it got me thinking about the importance of getting organised.

You might not think it’s necessary, but when something goes wrong with your computer, having your old equipment and accessories organised can save a lot of time and frustration.

You never know when you might need to find an old cable, power adapter, hard drive, operating system DVD, software disc or other piece of computer hardware.

If you have a spare moment, why not have a look through your computer gear and give it a bit of a tidy-up?

  • 🔌 Computer cables and power adapters
  • 💾 External and internal hard drives
  • 💿 Operating system and software DVDs
  • 🖥️ Old computer accessories and hardware
  • 📦 Spare parts and adapters

It doesn’t have to be perfectly organised — just make sure you know what you have and where to find it when you need it.

A little organisation today could save you a lot of searching when you have a computer emergency tomorrow!

💻📁 Give Your Digital Life a Year-End Tidy-Up

Hey there, Ngunguru and Tutukaka Community!

With the year winding down, it’s a great time to give your computer a little tidy-up before the New Year arrives.

Take some time to go through your 2023 documents, emails and files. Clear out anything you no longer need, organise important documents into folders, and make sure the files you want to keep are safely backed up.

A few simple jobs now can make it much easier to find what you need when you’re back into the swing of things in the New Year.
