Windows 10 Support Ends in Just 48 Days!

🪟 Windows 10 Support Has Ended — Is Your PC Ready?

Windows 10 reached end of support on October 14, 2025.

Microsoft no longer provides regular free security updates, software patches, or technical support for Windows 10.

You can still use a Windows 10 PC, but continuing to run an unsupported operating system can leave your computer increasingly exposed to security vulnerabilities and compatibility problems.

What could this mean for you?

  • 🔐 Increased exposure to security vulnerabilities
  • ⚙️ Software and application compatibility problems
  • 📱 Reduced support for newer apps and devices
  • 🛠️ Increasing difficulty keeping older hardware and software working reliably

What Can You Do?

  1. Upgrade to Windows 11
If your computer meets Microsoft’s hardware requirements, upgrading may be the simplest option.
  2. Use Extended Security Updates (ESU)
ESU can provide eligible Windows 10 devices with additional security updates for a limited period while you plan your next step.
  3. Consider replacing the computer
If your PC is older and doesn’t support Windows 11, it may be worth considering a replacement rather than continuing to invest in unsupported hardware.
  4. Explore alternatives
For some older computers, alternatives such as Linux or ChromeOS Flex may be worth considering.

💾 Don’t Forget Your Data

Whatever option you choose, make sure your important files are backed up before upgrading, replacing, or changing your operating system.

Your photos, documents, business files, and other important data are often worth far more than the computer they’re stored on.

Not sure what to do with your Windows 10 PC?

RD3 Tech can help you check your existing computer, work out whether Windows 11 is an option, back up and transfer your data, or look at alternatives if it’s time for a new system.

Today has been a challenging day for internet connectivity!

🌐 Internet Issues Along the Coast?

Today has been a challenging day for internet connectivity for some of us on the coast.

If you’re experiencing connection problems, there are a couple of simple things you can try before calling for help.

🔄 Reboot your router

If you haven’t already, try turning your router off, waiting around 30 seconds, and then turning it back on. Give it a few minutes to reconnect once it has restarted.

This simple step can sometimes restore your connection after a network interruption or connection issue.

📱 Still having problems?

Check whether the problem is affecting all of your devices or just one. If everything in the house is offline, the issue may be with your internet connection or provider rather than your individual device.

If you’ve tried restarting your router and you’re still having trouble, don’t keep pulling your hair out! 😅 Sometimes the problem is outside your home and needs to be investigated by your internet provider.

Hopefully things settle down soon and everyone gets back online.
